Ah hello. Come in … Here, try this coffee! Welcome to Sabado Coffee Club … A social coffee club where the people are nice and the coffee’s quite good too. So, the first Sabado Coffee Club was held back on the first Saturday of May. It showcased some famous roasters and some new kids on the block from Russia, Turkey, and Austria.
This coming month, we have selected coffees from roasters in China… yes that’s right, China! Plus we will have a few other roasters from USA, UK and some extra special ones are being flown in from Hong Kong.
We will be tasting some exciting coffees from a variety of origins, including Rwanda, Columbia, Kenya, Ethiopia, Guatamala and Panama.
The set up is simple…
take the best coffees from around the world
cup (taste) them all
vote the best
brew it up
drink it down
So come down and say hello. You don’t need to have any specialist knowledge and each meeting we will give a quick class on cupping (tasting) coffee. Sabado Coffee Club is very informal and relaxed – it starts at 12 noon and lasts as long as people wish to be there, so turn up with a sore head, turn up without any sleep, turn up late or in your pyjamas… just turn up.
The cost is 25AED per person.
This months meeting will take place June 7th 2014 at Cafe Rider in Al Quoz, Dubai. Click here for a location map.
